IN CELEBRATION of Jamaica's 47th anniversary of independence, The Atlanta Jamaican Association (AJA) will host its annual gala event - The Jamaica Independence Ball. This festive black tie event will be held at the newly renovated Renaissance Hotel at the airport, 1 Hartsfield Centre Parkway Atlanta, Ga. 30354 on August 15, starting at 7 pm. Special guest speaker will be The Honourable Justice Seymour Panton, OJ, president of the Court of Appeal, Jamaica.
