Capleton Launches 'Reign of Fire'

Summary

"[Capleton] gave us a 'splendocious' lab, of which we cannot be more proud... We in Islington love the stand you have taken against sin... we know that if you don't stand for something, you will fall for anything, so speak prophet speak, keep burning, keep purging, walk good, they can't keep a good man down", said [Merlene Campbell].

Professor [Carolyn Cooper] was no less supportive. She outlined differences in the public's perception of Capleton's 'fireburning' stance and that of Bob Marley's. The society she notes was quicker to condemn the 'fire' phenomenon in today's crop of deejays, yet it has been with us since Marley and Tosh's days.

Reign Of Fire was released in the United States on October 26. It contains some 20 tracks produced by several of Jamaica's leading producers. Among them are Bobby 'Digital' Dixon, Ian 'Gitsy' Forester, Fabien 'Goldy' Francis, and Stephen 'Gibbo' Gibbs.
