As we celebrate the Resurrection of [Jesus Christ] at this Eastertide, I know that most of us brought up in the West Indies will be making our way to the Altar of God on Good Friday and on Easter Day. May we never forget that as we share in the Body and Blood of Jesus Christ, that we are also called to bear the pain of forgiveness and reconciliation; that Jesus calls us to a life of ardent love - love for the Church which He established, love for family, love for friends, love for strangers, and yes, Jesus goes further, love for our enemies too. We assume these responses with the passion of boundless enthusiasm. Nothing should exceed our enthusiasm for the life of faith in Jesus Christ. Our enthusiasm for Christ must be boundless.
