Thanks to the Brooklyn Terminal Market Merchants Association for donating this magnificent Balsam Fir tree, to our dedicated parks and recreation staff for putting up the tree and fountain decorations, and to the MetroTech BID for their generous contributions. The holiday spirit is alive and well in Brooklyn, with residents and businesses reaching out across the borough to help those who are struggling. During this holiday season, I offer a prayer that the peace and joyous spirit Brooklyn celebrates will spread throughout the world."
