NEW YORK: IT HARDLY seems like ten years since Derrick 'Yabba' Forbes climbed above the Cornwall College defence to head home the match and championship winning goal at the Evander Childs High School field, Bronx, in the summer of 1996 to give Kingston College the first hold on the Jamaica Alumni Reunion Soccer trophy.
With registration going down to the wire for this year's tenth anniversary, Tournament Director and President of JAR, Inc., Dave 'Broadie' Stewart told THE WEEKLY GLEANER, that plans were well underway for this year's event at the same venue where it all started in the Bronx.See the full content of this document
